FTP Upload / Download:

If you'd like to save some time on your next project (and have a broadband connection), consider uploading your WAV files directly to us. We'll create a private FTP account for you for FREE so you can upload and download any needed files anytime you need to.

  • We will email you a unique username and password for your account.

  • Only you (and Diamondisc Audio) will have access to your FTP account and the files in that account.

  • Once you login and upload your song files to us, we can take it from there and master your project, etc.

  • If you are doing a project with us that does not require any mastering (like a website, Enhanced CD project, CDR duplication, etc.) you can still use our FTP Server. Just upload any necessary files to your account and that's all there is to it.

  • For Windows users, we recommend using the FREE FTP client called Core FTP. Download it here (3MB).

  • If you're not familiar with FTP, please take our simple FTP tutorial.

  • We'd like to recommend a freeware program for "ripping" your audio from a CD to your computer to create the needed 44k/16-bit WAV files. Click here to give FreeRip a try!

What do you do now? Contact us to ask for your free FTP account on our server and we'll get you setup and transferring files in no time. Your account is usually available within minutes of emailing us, especially if the request is made during normal business hours.

*If you have had an account with us previously and you've recently attempted to login to it and couldn't, your account has probably been deleted - simply request a new one.

Downloadable MP3 Reference Disc Image

If you would like an MP3 Reference Disc Image of your Mastered CD prior to receiving an actual CD from us, here's what you need to know:

  • It is not possible to have CD Track ID Numbers in an MP3 file. Your image will be one big 256kbps MP3 file with all of your songs in order from beginning to end (not individual MP3 files of each song in other words). Spacing between songs, compression, EQ and everything else will be the same as the actual CD we will send you - it just won't have the Track ID's due to the limitations of MP3.

  • An extra charge of $15 applies in addition to the mastering cost. There is a link on each of the Mastering Package pages (A, B, C, D) to add this service to your shopping cart.

  • An MP3 disc image will be around 100-150MB (or less) depending on the length of your CD so again, you will need a broadband connection to download it from your FTP account.

  • We make it possible for you to hear your Mastered CD the same day that we finish it!

  • If you would like to have Mastered WAV files instead of an MP3 Disc Image, we do that to. See the a-la cart options on the mastering pages.
